  Our Building

 Announcement
01. March. 2006
We have launched our new website.
Our Building
331 Juliana Street

The building you see in the banner at the top of this website is the Wood County Court House.  This is not our office building though we do spend a lot of time there.  Our office is actually located at the corner of 4th and Juliana Streets in Parkersburg.
-----------------------------------
The George Neale, Jr. House as it stands today.
It currently houses the offices of a number of Wood County solo practitioners.

-----------------------------------

331 Juliana Street
is the current address of a federal style, red-brick house built in 1840 by George Neale, Jr., the first cousin to Stonewall Jackson.  It is the third of four houses built by Mr. Neale.  It is only one of two that still stands and it is currently the only one that is still in everyday use.  A more complete history of George Neale, Jr. and his houses can be read here

It has weathered a number of storms including several floods, pictures from which can be seen here.  The house has primarily served as a law office since the 1870's.

In 2004, the buildings present owner, Robert K. Tebay, III had the exterior of the building restored by Core Restoration & Development, to shore up the aging brick structure and to make the building look more like it did in the 19th century.
